THE ROLL-NECK SERIES II

February 9, 2016 · TOPICS - ACCESSORIES, CLOTHING, SHOES

As mentioned in Series I, the roll neck sweater is an indispensable garment in your wardrobe; one that can be worn both formal and informal. The most important things to look for when picking one out is the fabric and the fit. This sweater should not be too bulky around the chest and waist and it should definitely feel warm and soft which is why I usually lean towards 100% cashmere or wool. Cotton cashmere is also not a bad option for those warmer fall days.

THE ROLL-NECK SERIES III

February 1, 2016 · TOPICS - ACCESSORIES, CLOTHING, SHOES

Captured during the holidays, today’s post gravitates towards a more formal look using the roll-neck sweater. Simply put its one of the most fashionable options for the modern dresser that lends to a dark, masculine appeal to any outfit. Pick one up or dust off your existing one and add a little mannishness to your look.

THE NAVY ALL SEASON SUIT

January 21, 2016 · TOPICS - ACCESSORIES, CLOTHING, SHOES

Fellas, you’ve probably heard/read it multiple times, a Navy blazer/suit is simply the starting point to a wardrobe overhaul. This is the item every man needs given its versatility in complementing whatever you have currently. Basic components should include two buttons, notch lapels, flap pockets, side vents and a soft shoulder. A navy suit gets you through work, interviews and various occasions, and I can honestly say it is a true investment. The $399 budget option from SuitSupply (Napoli Fit) is a starting point assuming you get the correct size based on the classic cut, however whatever brand you decide on, I highly recommend getting something of good quality for longevity. The Navy suit featured here is the Sienna model from SS and given Spring is in effect, I decided to add some color with this RL paisley pattern tie giving immediate vibrance to the whole attire.
