Let’s be honest, as fashion aficionados we agree that a blazer is a significant wardrobe investment. It is simply a striking balance between a smart and casual look. This week I’m featuring a jacket most people will consider semi-formal, so what exactly is an unstructured blazer? It is simply a more relaxed blazer with the typical padding and inner linings removed to give it that softer appearance. The textured jacket shown here is a Wool/Silk blend cut from the mills of Vitale Barberis Canonico, one of the oldest and finest fabric makers around today. It features absolutely no shoulder padding, patch pockets and working cuffs.
